Well, here’s how the story goes:
It's been 6 months since I acquired Feather.
And I have some news for you!
Btw, in case you don’t know, there's a newsletter rush going on in the entire ecosystem.
You've probably noticed the traction towards conventional newsletter platforms like beehiiv, Kit, and Substack. Everyone's chasing that sponsorship route with their emails:
1 - Add ads
2 - Make money
3 - Use money to increase subs
4 - Rinse and repeat
I totally respect that hustle, but let's be real - it's not for everyone.
There's a bunch of us out there who want to run newsletters without ads or sponsors.
And these big platforms don't make sense for us. Too expensive especially when we don't use 80% of the features in there.
We just want to share our journey, wins, and failures in a genuine way.
That's where Feather comes in.
We're building a newsletter product for indie makers and creators like me.
I'll be honest, it's been tougher than I thought:
Huge deliverability issues? You bet.
Changing providers 4 times? Yep, I did that.
I basically faced every challenge there was to face.
But guess what? We're finally nailing it! 🎉
